Jeremy Clarkson is a man of his word as the British TV presenter proved when he rolled into Enstone on Monday to deliver 1000 bottles of beer to the Alpine F1 team.
Earlier this year, Clarkson admitted to having a special affinity for the French outfit whose factory is located near his farm in Oxfordshire.
Last month, during the live broadcast of the Monaco Grand Prix, the Grand Tour presenter spurred on Esteban Ocon and his crews on Twitter: "Come on Alpine. I'll buy you all a pint if you get a podium here."
Ocon accomplished just that, leaving Clarkson with no choice but to honor his word.
True to his eccentric nature, Clarkson took the opportunity to make a grand entrance, arriving at the Alpine team's headquarters in Enstone on his trusty tractor loaded with a whopping 1000 bottles of beer!
Alpine's team members, including Ocon, took a break to toast once again to the Frenchman's Monaco feat, and to Clarkson's own bravado.
